Heart of Europe Barge: Cochem to Metz

So we take our time cruising its waters on our private barge. We'll unpack our bags, then cruise and cycle for seven glorious days past terraced vineyards, emerald hillsides, and charming timber-framed villages.

Our journey flows into Germany, France, and Luxembourg - past historic outposts of the Roman Empire - to serene riverside picnic spots - through a collapsed volcano - and into the lives of locals who've invited us into their homes. And of course, there'll be lots of the valley's fine wines to sample.
