1 Day Desaru Cycling 111km

Desaru is a town in Pengerang, Kota Tinggi District, Johor, Malaysia. It is famous for its pristine beach beside the South China sea.
Our Desaru 111 Day Challenge is a Self-Regulated Cycling (SRC) yet supported by SSVs (Support Sweeper Vehicles) providing the lead & support sweeper role.
This itinerary is planned to be a full cycling trip, 100% cycle to & fro.  However, our SSV (minibus or car with bike racks) are still able to assist a few cyclists should there be any mechanical issues with bikes or due to fatigue/other reasons.

Highly recommended for enthusiasts & experienced cyclists (who have done 100km before), it is very suitable for those who wish to do uninterrupted ride, OR do own conditioning/training, but with safety support/logistics all taken care of.
Our SSV vehicle will be leap-frogging all the cyclists up and down to ensure everyone in the group is taken care of!

Highlights:

  • nearly non-stop road cycling on straight roads
  • good mix of straight flats & undulating terrain for conditioning
  • view of the Desaru coast & South China sea
  • seafood lunch in Pengerang

Cycle pace: 25-32kmph (or at your own pace).
