From our cycle hire centre at Gabriel's Wharf, you will be equipped with a suitable bicycle and have time to gain your balance, before setting off at an easy pace with our guide. Moving west along the River Thames, past the National Theatre and Royal Festival Hall, we stop right under the big wheel, the London Eye. We continue under Westminster Bridge stopping for that 'Kodak' moment, to admire the architecture of the Houses of Parliament, then cycle along the River Thames to Lambeth Palace, one of London's oldest buildings the home of the head of 'The Church of England'. Now crossing to the north side of the river we explore the lanes of traditional red brick houses, though a back gate into Westminster Abbey School yard, the first school in England.

Just outside the school you will be standing right on the place where so many Kings and Queens have had their coronation, only to end up in the crypt of the Abbey. Along the road we find Horse Guard's Parade, site of the 2012 Olympic Beach Volleyball Competition, St. James' Park, Clarence House to Buckingham Palace, The Queen's official London residence, then up Constitution Hill into the open space of Hyde Park. From Hyde Park we travel through Mayfair, past the US Embassy, Classy New Bond Street, Carnaby Street shopping areas and into the party centre of London, Soho. we then pedal through the back streets and alleyways of Chinatown to Covent Garden, theatre-land, home of the Royal Opera House, street theatre and much much more. The trip is nearly over as we wind our way back to the river and cross Waterloo Bridge; take a quick look back, what an amazing city!
