Andraikiba Lake – Sacred Tritriva Lake – Cycle through small villages – Great views – Learn about Malagasy culture - Antsirabe – Lac Tritriva – Lac Andraikiba

Towards half past nine, we drive by bus to Andraikiba Lake. In earlier, years there was a recreation are around the lake, where people took a bath or rowed a little boot during the weekend. Meanwhile this Lake is the drinking water reservoir of Antsirabe and no more water sports activities allowed anymore. We see the rice fields, the fruit and vegetable plantations. Before even reaching, we can see the Mount Tritriva starting from the village of Belazao. After we continue to reach another lake, more spectacular, and full with myth, which is the lake Tritriva. This Crater Lake with its volcanic landscape is formed by following deep and impressive collapse. Nested at an altitude of about 1880m to the hollow of a small mountain. Tritriva Lake entwines important stories. We have nice views of the village and the rice field. We learn the Malagasy greetings; visit the markets, historical places, local dich served. We enjoy the lunch picnic. After, we start our cycling. For our return to Antsirabe we jump on our bikes. We cycle through small villages.
