Bike tours on greenways and rail trails

Greenways & Rail Trails
Image © Cycle Tours Global
These tours are all or mostly on greenways, converted rail trails and river/canal towpaths - often in quiet country and regional areas, though also in city and suburban areas.

As old former railway lines are closed in different locations around the world, many of these have been turned into awesome trails for cycling and hiking. Another huge bonus is that the gradient used for trains is also perfectly suited to cycling!
