A new sub-category of bike tours, these specialised tours are being added by more and more operators around the world.

These are off-road adventure tours that fall between road and mountain bike cycling. They differ from road tours in that they're obviously off-road or on unpaved surfaces but are much less technical than mountain bike tours.
