We’ll cycle through an ever-changing landscape ranging from golden plains to rocky peaks where eagles’ nests and finally along the impressive man-made landscape of tiered vineyards flanking the river. We’ll also learn about the production of Port and table wines.

Local experts will give us wine tasting sessions in charming old family estates adorned with exquisite hand-painted tiles. For our tour finale, we’ll enjoy the unusual beauty of the Douro river landscape from the two new perspectives: a historic steam engine and a panoramic river boat.
