The Best of Flinders Ranges, Clare Valley, Barossa Valley

This 10-day tour takes you to two of the best South Australian wine regions for some gourmet food and wine experiences as well as a few walks or bike rides around the small townships of the Clare and Barossa Valleys. Adelaide was named the 'foodie' capital of Australia by Conde Nast magazine, and the wine regions certainly live up to that standard with world class food and wine. South Australia has the largest number of wine producers in Australia with over 680 and growing.

The Flinders Ranges takes you from the modern world to an Outback environment with an incredible history going back 550 million years, proven by the fossils of the region, some of which can only be found in Namibia and the Flinders Ranges. Spectacularly rugged and beautiful, the ranges are a place where you will find kangaroos, emus, wombats and other wildlife as well as a wide range of flora. Peace and tranquility are your friends in this unique place. The interpretive centre and Arid Lands Botanic Gardens of Port Augusta will prepare your trip to this place of history.
