Tackling iconic routes through the majestic Yorkshire Dales National Park and Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty -Sampling the locally brewed beers from the world famous Black Sheep & Theakston breweries of Masham - Spinning along Wensleydale, and hope for some of the famous cheese with your picnic at the top of the climb! - Descend alongside the iconic amphitheatre of Malham Cove

This road cycling weekend in the UK is quickly becoming one of Skedaddle's weekend classics. On the back of recent pro tours through this challenging and picturesque region, we've designed a weekend which includes some brilliant views, cheeky climbs, and Yorkshire treats to reward the miles you've put in!

On arrival we settle ourselves for the weekend in beautiful Malham. Considered to be the gateway to the Dales, it's from here each day we head out into the glory (and suffering!) of the Yorkshire Dales. Both days will feature highlights of the parcours ridden by the pros as they battled to be the first wearer of the coveted 'Maillot Jaune', or as we would say, yellow jersey.

Satisfying breakfasts will fuel you for your days in the saddle, the legendary Skedaddle picnic lunches are always a delight, and the hearty, well-deserved evening meals are always a jovial, social event.

Not only is this is the ideal weekend for testing the water prior to joining one of our longer road cycling tours, it's also a great getaway in its own right, and the perfect escape from congested roads and heavy traffic.
