This trip is designed for those looking to get away from the busy roads and see Nicaragua from its core: quiet dirt roads that wind through the countryside and tiny village farms. Cross the entire country, starting at the Pacific Ocean and finishing on the creole Caribbean side. Mountains, tropical lowlands, and everything in between.

Although we don't cross any huge mountain ranges, we do ride through some hilly regions of the country so coming prepared will definitely help, as will being comfortable riding unpaved roads. We make regular water/fruit stops and the support vehicle allows us to accommodate a very wide range of speeds.

Where you can go from some of the tallest peaks in Central America, down through dense rainforest, and reach stunning beaches in one day. We've put the best of Costa Rica on display and experiencing it all on a bike allows you to actually get off the beaten path.

The cycling for the Costa Rica trip is a little bit more laid back since we spend a fair amount of time riding along the coast, however, it's definitely best to come prepared for the occasional climb.
