Take a leap into your next adventure with the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, experience the stretch of rail line from Wulkuraka to Yarraman.
Discover 161 kilometres of adventure riders' dreams, packed with picturesque winding descents, fast gravel sections and numerous river crossings. Travel through historical country towns packed with character, local attractions, tasty bakeries and great pubs. On your journey stop and take some photos with the old train stations, bridges, carriages and heritage listed sites.
The BVRT Self Guided Cycle Tour starts in Yarraman and slopes mostly downhill for the trip all the way back to Wulkuraka. The trail is easy to moderate and is great fun for anyone and everyone. If you think some of the hills may challenge you a bit too much, an upgrade to an e-bike could do wonders and help you get through the trail with ease. Spend your 3 nights at Oaks Aspire in Ipswich, The Linville Hotel and the Esk Caravan Park and Motel. These accommodation choices are all highly rated, comfortable and have great service and cleanliness. If you prefer more luxury or solitude please enquire about many of the upgrades including a host of cosy airbnb cabins and houses. A local bakery or takeaway shop is always just a short walk or ride away. This self guided tour takes care of all the logistics involved, so all you have to do is get on the bike and enjoy the ride. We provide you with a full itinerary so you always know what you’re doing and know all the best places to stop and have lunch or take a photo.

Tour Operator Out There Cycling
The KKRT / BVRT 5 Day cycle tour is a moderately paced ride which will allow riders enough time to explore the local towns and enjoy the countryside.
This tour allows you to stay in selected Hotel/Motesl along the way in our country towns.
You will be carrying your own gear on your bike in pannier bags.
You will have the opportunity to meet many a local along the way, learn about the history of the towns and regions and experience friendly country style hospitality.
On completion of the rail trail you will have travelled 320km in total and ridden through a number of varied landscapes.
The KKRT and the BVRT are well maintained and a safe environment to enjoy the outdoors on a bike at a moderate pace.
