Portugal Bike Tours in the Alentejo are the perfect blend of natural beauty, medieval villages, tasty cuisine and excellent wine. Located south of the Targus River, the Alentejo is a sparsely populated region filled with wheat fields, rolling plains, medieval castles and white villages where time seems to stand still. The cycling route is on uncrowded paved roads that pass through vineyards and cork forests. April is the perfect time to ride in Portugal, with dry weather, comfortable temperatures and glorious spring wildflowers!
