4 days to discover the Basque hinterland between sea and mountains. This bike trip offers you a good overview of the Basque Country from small typical villages perched on top of the green hills to the lively seaside towns.
Cycle in the Basque hinterland before reaching the Atlantic coast. Discover the local crafts and Basque culture by crossing the numerous traditional villages in the region. Your itinerary also leads over the "Col de Pinodieta" and "Col de Saint-Ignace" mountain passes, where you will enjoy wonderful views on the sea and the mountains. Do not miss the caves of Sare to become introduced to prehistory and to the megalithic Basque period. Your cycling itinerary ends on the Atlantic coast, on the bike path "Vélodyssée" where you can enjoy the pleasures of the ocean before returning to Biarritz.
