A 3-day bike tour through the most famous appellations of Burgundy wine region
This short bike tour takes you through the most prestigious vineyards of the Burgundy wine region known as Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits. You start biking from Chalon-sur-Saône along the canal du Centre first and then on the marvelous cycle trail 'la Voie des Vignes' nicely meandering through vineyards as famous as Chassagne-Montrachet, Meursault or Pommard. Your bike tour is self-guided so you are free to stop in as many wine properties as you wish. You stay in Beaune which has gained its wealth from wine trading and visit the unmissable 'Hospices de Beaune'. You keep on the next day through Nuits-Saint-Georges till the town of Dijon.
