The Jura Mountains are France's best kept secret and one of the country's least explored pockets of wild territory. Straddling the Franco-Swiss border, this limestone range extends for 250 kilometres in an arc from the Rhone to the Rhine. An established route since the 1970's, the traverse can be completed on foot, by ski or by bike. For mountain bikers, this route offers a superb and non-technical 6-day ride with an abundance of climbs and descents; crossing steep forested hillsides and lush meadows, rich with wild flowers. With transfers from Geneva included, a knowledgeable guide, vehicle support and superb hospitality and food, this mountain bike holiday will appeal to the rider who would prefer to look at the views and not the trail!
