We start by riding along beautiful Sam Roi Yod Beach and head into the national park to Ban Pu (Crab Village) where we take a long-tail boat (weather permitting) around Tian Mountain to Laem Sala Beach where we hike up, and then down into Tham Phraya Nakhon Cave.

Extreme caution has to be taken and proper footwear worn as the rocks are sharp and can be slippery.

The cave is actually two large sinkholes, the roofs of which have collapsed allowing sunlight & rain to reach the floor, where trees have rooted reaching for the ceiling.

The central focus within the cave is a four-gabled roofed pavilion bathed by natural light, which was built for the visit of King Rama V on June 20th, 1890. This vast cavern high on a hill is the favorite destination for visitors to the park.

After visiting the cave we return to Ban Pu by boat for a lovely family-style seafood lunch on the beach. After lunch we continue to ride through the park with refreshment stops along the way to Wat Khao Daeng with a spectacular mountainous backdrop. Then it is on to Khao Daeng Viewpoint, an incredible vantage point overlooking a vast area of the park.
