Great Canadian Trails

Great Canadian Trails caters to travellers seeking unique, remote, active holidays in Canada. With us, you can hike remote trails in Canada without extensive wilderness experience, or cycle from one picturesque town to another with all the logistics pre-arranged and your luggage waiting for you at the next charming accommodation.

With operations based out of our Ottawa office, Great Canadian Trails offers a growing selection of both small group guided and self guided hiking, cycling and multi activity adventures. Active doesn't mean athletic and the best way to fully enjoy your experience is by choosing a trip suitable to your level of fitness. If you prefer day walks to extensive hiking, then go for an adventure touring level; if you are up for a good challenge, our mountaineering expeditions should be more your cup of tea.
