Far removed from the bustle and crowds of Sevilla and Granada are the storybook mountain villages known throughout Spain as los Pueblos Blancos. Their whitewashed façades are refreshed each spring, providing a dazzling contrast to the landscape's ochre hues and colorful wildflowers. Our newest route in southwest Andalucía strings together a necklace of pueblos blancos, with overnights in four of the prettiest. Between towns, we'll roll through scenic parkland and undulating plains famous for Andalusian thoroughbreds and toros bravos (fighting bull) ranches. Our journey ends at the Costa de la Luz ('Coast of Light'), where Africa and Europe are so close that you can see Morocco clearly on the horizon.
