While most of the country is sweltering in 90 degree temperatures in July and Aug, The Blue Ridge Mountain range offers a great relief

Cool temperatures, and lush green forests for hiking, smooth surface roads for cycling and mountain creeks and rivers for fishing and Kayaking are an abundance.

Our guests have been asking for more time out of the saddle. So, to our Summer line-up, we have added a new 5day bike vacation with morning and afternoon hikes in Linville Falls, Grandfather Mountain and Moses Cone Estate. An afternoon of Kayaking on the South Branch of The New River or a flyfishing clinic in the adorable town of Todd is a “cool” Summer kick.

Your vacation starts in the beautiful vibrant downtown of Asheville , NC with a lovely dinner at The Grove Park. The next morning you start cycling north on the Blue Ridge Parkway and venture on and off into small town where you enjoy hikes and local culture. You will wrap up your cycling and Multi-sport activities near the quiet Virginia town of Fancy Gap. Enjoy a  no-frills lunch at the Mayberry Station Grill with the locals before shuttling back to the Sheraton Asheville. You may decide to stay a few more days to take in some great hikes and Waterfalls treks. Let us know, we can hook you up with our local buds at the Adventure Center.  Or stay for an additional bike tour.
