Day 1: Cycle to the Great Wall, Country Meal, Hike on the Great WallOne of our great adventure China tours. We are loaded into the van with our bikes and then head to the beautiful countryside in the north of Beijing. Once we get to the starting point, you will be given a bike, helmet, and a detailed map. Get on your bike and head east along a paved light-traffic road with the Great Wall always looming large ahead of you. Later on cycle to a part of un-restored section of the Great Wall, called Yellow Flower Great Wall, which is very quiet and peaceful with great views all the way. After lunch take out your map again, walk up to the great wall, keep hiking for 2 -3 hours, then take a path down to a little village, from where you can walk back to a country guesthouse which we have reserved for you. Day 2: Cycle to the Ming Tombs, Visit the tombs (optional-entrance fee not included), Lunch at Small Village, Back to BeijingAfter breakfast, back on the bike again, cycle to the Ming tombs following your map. The Ming Tombs are an attractive destination as much for the natural scenery as the tombs themselves. After about 3 hours of scenic cycle, you will get to Changling, the earliest and largest of the Ming tombs dating back from the year 1413 AD. After lunch you can pay a visit to Changling, then get picked up by the bus and head back to Beijing.
