MTB Length of Lanzarote

This is not just any MTB ride, this is an adventure. You will be transferred to the beautiful fishing village of Orzola where you begin this magical tour of Lanzarote's landscape.The scenery is spectacular from the start as you meander down through the north of the island. It's a different world. The descent to the old island capital of Teguise has some of the most unusual single tracks you are ever likely to see.The terrain is constantly changing, agricultural pockets, desert landscape and more volcanoes before taking in probably the most spectacular panoramic views above Tias. The view will be imprinted in your mind forever as you make the last 6km descent down to Puerto del Carmen at the end of stage 1.Stage 2 Commencing in Puerto del Carmen, sees us rejoin the route in Tias, one can see much of the way along the south coastline and Fuerteventura. Equally, the route allows to to look to the middle of the island overlooking the La Geria wine valley.The final leg of the journey is almost completely (only slightly) downhill. All you have to do is soak up the sense of elation and achievement as we reach the finish. You have just cycled the length of Lanzarote - off-road.
