Our 9-day Navigating Nicaragua adventure lets you taste it all. The trip starts with a jolt of exhilaration, as we hike to the dome of the 2,395 ft Cerro Negro Volcano and surf down the slope on sandboards. We take a peaceful sea kayak trip on Lake Nicaragua, navigating our way through a labyrinth of lily pads. Next is a canopy tour, zipping hundreds of feet above the ground through a jungle pulsing with life. The last few days are spent in the saddle, pedaling mountain bikes around Isla Ometepe, the largest island in Lake Nicaragua, made from the Concepcion and Madera Volcanoes and the bridge of lava that connects them.
