This cycling holiday (Italy, Austria and Slovenia) leads you from the Hochpuster valley in the heart of the Dolomites until Triest, the capital of Friaul-Julisch Venetia and once an important Habsburg port city. Idyllic landscapes and the enchanting lake of Bled as well as the known wine region of the Collio await you during your journey.
This is a varied tour, only the last two stages are slightly hilly. The route is mostly paved and runs on cycle paths or on quiet side-streets. A little traffic is only to be expected at city entrances and exits.
