Need a weekend getaway? With everything ready to go? This cycle is quite simply, world class beautiful. It is a perfect length for a weekend getaway or mid week cycle and so easy to access from Sydney.
This two-day self-guided cycle tour starts at the Waterfall in the Royal National Park in Sydney’s South and travels down the coast to the picturesque seaside village of Kiama.
Along the way you will pass through towns and sea-side suburbs, through ancient forests and mangrove swamps, and cycle alongside lakes and lagoons and beautiful beaches.
There’s also a temple to visit, markets to browse through, history to absorb and restaurants for dining, and still plenty of time for a swim or a coffee or to simply sit back and enjoy the sights and sounds of the beautiful South Coast.
The tour uses a mixture of bike paths and on-road cycling with a couple of medium hills. You can take the train back home to Sydney or to Waterfall to collect your car.
