Guided Bike Tours of Siem Reap/Angkor complex / Discover Siem Reap from a different perspective...
A visit in Angkor complex – of course – but why a guided tour? A guide – yes – but which one?
If you visit a monument or a historic part of the city on your own, you won’t leave empty handed. But you’re going to miss too many stories; for example, who lived there and what did they experience.
And too often you might get lost – especially in the Angkor Areas.
We will visit the main temples nearby Siem Reap:
Visit Banteay Srei temple (the jewel temple) - this site can be easily reached by a nice trip through rural Cambodia. There are other interesting stops along the way to Banteay Srei so we will visit Pre Rup temple and Ta Promh (the remote ruin temple and Tomb Raider movie).
- Angkor Thom (the site of the ancient capital of the Khmer period. Visit South Gate, Bayon, Terrace of Elephant).
- Angkor Wat and Sunset at Bakheng Mountain
Then spend one day seeing the countryside and village life. We will visit Beng Mealea temple (the remote ruin temple). It is a long drive away, it is a worthwhile drive. There are other interesting stops along the way to Beng Mealea – The people in the village and Rolous Group (the former capital of Khmer Empire since 9 century) – Preah Ko, Bakong temple.
We will go to see floating village at Tonle Sap Lake and visit a Silk farm, Artisan Angkor, Local market and Buddhist temple.
Our guided tours of Angkor complex and city of Siem Reap are all exclusively lead by professional licensed guides.
