Bike Tours along the Erie Canal

The Erie Canal was opened in the 1820's to link the Great Lakes to New York City and runs from Buffalo to Albany to join the Hudson River. Today it forms a green heritage corridor across New York state and is mostly used for recreation. 2017 sees celebrations of the bicentenary of the start of construction.
