Description
Lisbon is the city of seven hills and colorful districts. On our Bike Tour through Lisbon's Oldtown, we take a dive into the cultural abundance of the different quarters.
We bike first along the river to the port area to have a taste of Alfama, Lisbon's oldest district that stayed intact during the past centuries and has just started its revival. After we find our way out of the labyrinth of Alfama's crooked alleys and we take a glimpse at the oldest Cathedral of Lisbon, called Sé.
Our next stop is Baixa, the real heart of the city, where square quarters resemble a chessboard. Riding up on the city's most famous avenue, Avenida da Liberdade, we will get to the top of Park Eduard 7th for great vistas of the city, castle and river Tagus.
On our way back we discover the vibrant commercial district of Chiado and a few of the hidden night life areas around Bairro Alto.
