This self-guided biking tour takes you to mystical monasteries, churches with outstanding frescoes, and fabled medieval hilltowns. Our itinerary starts in Sansepolcro (actually in the very southeast of Tuscany) and follows the Upper Tiber Valley south before heading to the beautiful medieval town of Assisi. Entering a tributary valley, you will pass among Roman and medieval villages, areas famous for their olive oils and wines, arriving finally at the stunning medieval town of Spoleto.
