Authentic Travels By Bike And On Foot

We offer a fantastic selection of cycling holidays in the UK and Europe. From day tours to short breaks and longer holidays of 13 nights or more, from gentle to not-so-gentle distances, and self-led or guided options, we have something to suit all appetites.

What sets us apart from other tour operators is our attention to detail and insider knowledge. With over 25 years of experience, we have personally cycled or walked every one of our trips. Our routes are unique to us and are thoughtfully designed to show you not just the headline attractions but also the hidden gems of the area you are visiting. We take the time to find routes along little-known back roads and quiet lanes that minimise the traffic and the slopes, and maximise the time you have to soak up the local culture and atmosphere. Since many of our trips are gentle and we use a lot of traffic-free paths, they are a great choice for family holidays.

Accommodation is hand-picked and boutique – most tours offer a choice of either classic inns or luxury hotels. We also design tailor-made holidays; please visit our website or contact us to find out more www.the-carter-company.com
