Trophee de l’Oisans

10 Days

The week starts with the Vaujany sportive at 180km with 4,000 metres of climbing on the Sunday. This sportive will give you the chance to ride the Alpe du Grand Serre (1,360m), col d’Ornon (1,371m), Alpe d’Huez via Villard Reculas (1,750m) followed by the technical descent of the Col de Sarenne, used for the first time in the Tour in 2013, and then, in case you still felt you hadn’t climbed enough, the event finishes with the leg-breaking climb to Vaujany (1,253m) for a total distance of 182km.

This is followed by the second sportive, the Prix des Rousses, a short, at 40kms, but intensive effort starting at the bottom of the Alpe d’Huez and finishing at the top of Vaujnay ski station on the Wednesday.

Then you will take on the 170km Marmotte with over 5,000 metres of climbing on the following Sunday. Please note that the Marmotte has been moved to the Sunday in 2017, having been on the Saturday in the past.

You can choose which of the events you want to ride. On the week days with no events, you can also join an organised ride taking in some of the nearby climbs. We vary which rides we do each year depending on weather conditions and the ability and fitness of the group.
