Soigneur provides luxury, fully supported cycling trips celebrating Australia’s finest and lesser known rides. Our ethos is ‘the road less ridden’. To ride with Soigneur is to escape into the natural world. To leave behind the noise of the city. To escape the daily grind. The Soigneur experience is characterised by the pride we take in the service, care and attention to detail for our guests.

Soigneur’s co-founders, Daniel Strauss and Jason Blankfield, would organise weekend riding adventures for mates which would usually involve long days on the bike discovering new roads followed by home-cooked feasts and war-stories. It was on one of these weekends, deep into a 200km epic, that Jason and Daniel first talked about the idea of organising fully supported cycling trips.

Daniel and Jason drew inspiration to start Soigneur from different places. Jason, from his involvement in Chain Reaction, a charity bike ride, which showed him the joys of riding his bike when everything else is taken care of, pro-style.

For Daniel it was his racing experiences in far-corners of the country, cycle-touring in India, Sri Lanka and Vietnam, and as part of the Rapha Continental series. Having done Continental films in Australia and New Zealand, these adventures highlighted the people and places you encounter by chance on the road – a big part of the Soigneur experience.

Soigneur is now fully established and run two types of trips: Seasonal trips, available for groups or individuals to book spots on, and Bespoke trips, for corporate and private groups.
