Be'er Sheva is the largest city in the Negev, and its capital. With a population of 200,000 and home to the Ben Gurion University the city has undergone colossal development in the last 2 decades, and is today a leader in education and research based industries. Alongside the modern is the old and ancient history of the city; a history that dates back millenia.
The city sprawls out from its Old City center, with the ancient area of Tel Be'er Sheva on its outer eastern city limits. Our pioneering ride offers a comprehensive half day tour that can be easily combined with a visit to the national park of Tel Be'er Sheva, a visit to Arad, or any number of other activities in the area.
Our tour begins at the Negev Brigade memorial where your expert guide will introduce you to the modern battles that happened in the area. Your route will take you to the Be'er Sheva Hi-tech Cyber Center, to the Mexico Bridge leading to Ben Gurion University, and on to the renewed train station.
We will stop at the new Be'er Sheva Park and visit Kibbutz Hatserim where we will learn about the drip technology developed by Netafim which has revolutionized irrigation and contributed to huge positive changes in desert agriculture. After lunch in the Kibbutz dinning room, we will continue to the Air Force Museum where we will end our ride.
